The Influence of Star Wars on Pop Culture

I got the opportunity to team up with Pop Chart Labs and create this truly fun Star Wars infographic. This franchise is a popular topic and always comes up in discussions for new ideas at Shutterstock. But I’ve always thought that nothing revolutionary could be done with such a well-known property. That’s when I realized that was the idea.

Star Wars has had a tremendous influence on pop culture, technology and even the concept of a modern blockbuster. George Lucas’ influences, inspiration and aspirations all came together during the making of those movies, and in turn were pushed back out into the mainstream by the franchise’s fans. This is what Pop Chart Labs and I came together to celebrate. With my oversight and art direction, we collaborated on the creation of this piece and shared it with Star Wars fans all over the internet.
